This month, I want to bring you a 31 day hybrid challenge for journalling and self discovery. The goal is to empower you to be the best version of yourself you can be, regardless of your health. I know summer can cause a lot of flares and COVID forcing us to stay inside is frustrating. This is an opportunity for you to self reflect on what and who in your life is the most important. It gives you the opportunity to contemplate where you want the rest of the year to go. We have a saying in our practice, “where the mind goes, energy flows.”

If you’re feeling down because summer is in full swing and you can’t enjoy it the way you want to, try these daily journal prompts for self discovery. I promise these questions will challenge you and encourage you. Many spoonies are reaching out and asking me dating advice, like “what do I do if he ghosts me?” I’d like you to consider, the bigger question on your mind.

The bigger question is, “how do I love myself more?” And loving yourself always comes down to understanding who you are.

By the end of this challenge you will discover so much about yourself. I’ve found my best days occur when I set time aside every morning with my planner and write out the daily tasks. It’s a habit for me.

Day 1: Think about all of the roles you play in your life. If you had to give one up, what would it be?

Day 2: In what ways are strong?

Day 3: Have you ever spoken up when you saw something going on that was wrong? Were you scared? Where did you find your courage?

Day 4: Give the city you live in a new name and explain why you chose that name.

Day 5: What does self discovery mean to me? What is self discovery?

Day 6: What have you learned from the ex that hurt you most?

Day 7: What have you lied to yourself about? What was the intention behind lying to yourself?

Day 8: What do you look forward to every day?

Day 9: What did you get in trouble for most as a kid?

Day 10: Look around you right now, what’s great with this picture?

Day 11: What do the clothes you are wearing say about yourself?

Day 12: Do you have an ex you would consider dating again?

Day 13: The lottery called and you win a lifetime supply of anything you want, what do you choose?

Day 14: You have unlimited funds to take yourself on a date, where do you go and what do you do?

Day 15: What is something in your life that is “worth it”?

Day 16: What habit are you most proud of?

Day 17: Write about the most recent skill you’ve learned/acquired.

Day 18: Think of the last date you went on or the last time you were in public. Describe what you would see from the point of a view of a stranger who saw you.

Day 19: Describe in detail an item you would love to inherit from a relative.

Day 20: What’s one event in your life you’d prefer to “do-over”.

Day 21: What’s the best pick up line you know? What’s the best pick up line you’ve used?

Day 22: What’s the best emotion a human can feel?

Day 23: Describe how you support a friend when they are struggling.

Day 24: Describe the day you met your best friend, from your best friends point of view.

Day 25: Describe your first kiss or what you’d imagine it to be like.

Day 26: What is truly standing in the way of your goals right now?

Day 27: What physical attribute of yourself do you find most attractive?

Day 28: What do friends provide that we cannot find on our own?

Day 29: You are given $1000. You can only spend it on yourself. What do you buy?

Day 30: What annoys you most about the opposite sex? What annoys you most about the same sex?
