(Spoonie Edition) Daily journal prompts to help ease anxiety, experience gratitude, and heal
Sis, somedays are hard. You’re experiencing the kind of fatigue where you need a nap after a shower. You’re symptomatic, your bowels do whatever they want to do without warning. Your continuous glucose monitor needs replaced. The clinic has you running in circles to coordinate labs and some idiot in the billing department accidentally charged you $400 for a cotton swab. I’ve been there. However, when those days happen, having journal prompts for self discovery can help you decrease anxiety and improve your sense of self-worth.
Here’s the deal, sis. I know having a chronic condition can be tough. Not only do you have to manage your health and symptoms, you also have to manage your expectations when things aren’t going the way you wanted. Sometimes the thought of getting through it all is exhausting in itself. Your habits every day can make or break the quality of your life. By adapting an attitude to change your habits for success, you can change your life.

First of all, why’d I even buy a planner? So many lessons learned during quarantine. Everything is chaotic and we’re all searching for a little bit of balance. Here’s the irony, I never expected COVID or the quarantine to teach me anything about life. Especially about finding balance. And yet, once again, I was wrong. There’s always a higher purpose to pain. There’s always a bright sunrise after the darkest of nights.
